Winter Festival of Lights
A beloved Niagara Falls tradition for more than thirty years, the Winter Festival of Lights is a must-see for anyone visiting the city from November 18th to January 31st. Featuring beautiful illumination displays all throughout Niagara Parks, Dufferin Islands, and the Niagara Falls tourist district, the festival transforms the area into a sparkling winter wonderland. This year’s 8km festival route will feature illumination displays of 3D Canadian wildlife, the world’s largest Canadian-American flag, and beautiful trees, along with spectacular fireworks shows over the Falls at 9pm for the duration of the festival.

Niagara Falls Santa Claus Parade
This year’s Niagara Falls Santa Claus Parade is taking place on Saturday November 18th at 11am in downtown Niagara Falls. The parade will begin on Victoria Avenue at Armoury Street and travel north onto Valley Way, ending on Queen Street at City Hall. It will feature 12 amazing marching bands, beautiful floats, inflatable gingermen and snowmen, a giant inflatable Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer, and of course Santa Claus. During the parade, Canada Post will be collecting letters to Santa along the parade route, Tim Hortons will be giving out free hot chocolate, coffee, and lattes at the corner of Valley Way and Queen Street, and there will be free face painting, balloons, and caricatures near City Hall. It will be an action-packed day of holiday fun that people of all ages will love.
