The holiday season is a time to come together with family, and Niagara Falls offers a number of exciting activities, attractions, and outings for people of all ages to enjoy.
The Butterfly Conservatory is now hosting a “Blue Christmas” exhibit, running until January 5th, 2015 that displays over 500 amazing Blue Morpho butterflies in the indoor rainforest setting of the conservatory. Along with the beautiful butterflies, the exhibit will feature festive décor and holiday floral arrangements that will help visitors get into the spirit of the season.
You can also celebrate the season at Fort George in Niagara-on-the-Lake on December 13th and 14th at the Fort George Garrison Christmas. This family holiday event will feature games, crafts, activities, treats, beverages, and musket demonstrations. Visitors can also stop by the Fort George gift shop for holiday shopping items such as books, games, and toys.
And for some indoor thrills and fun, families can visit the 3-acre Fallsview Indoor Waterpark, located right across the street from the Niagara Falls. With 16 waterslides, a 1,000-gallon tipping bucket, full sized wave pool, adult-only hot tubs, and children’s play area, everyone is sure to have fun.
